YOUTH BASKETBALL TEAMS

Junior and Senior High Fellowship Groups gather for supper on Sunday nights under the leadership of the "McCares" (Mike & Marylaura McKoon and Jonathan & Tammy Care). Supper begins at 6:00 pm and activities conclude by 7:30 pm. Hockey games, retreats, Six Flags, lock-ins, and summer camps and mission projects are some of the different activities throughout the year.

CUB and BOY SCOUTS Troops #605 call First Presbyterian Church home. The scout troops meet at the scout hut on the corner of Chestnut and Young Streets. The scouts helped with the worship service Sunday, February 9, 2002. The leaders presented minister Rich Brand with a certificate of appreciate and support for First Presbyterian on that day. The scoutmaster is Michael Knott (430-0350) and the assistant scoutmaster is Wayne Woody (430-0858). Presbyterian Women Circles meet each month for Bible study and discussion. Presbyterian Women Circle 1 meets every 3rd Tuesday at Noon for lunch at the Western Sizzlin. Presbyterian Women Circle 2 gathers for dinner at the Uptown Rose at 6:00 pm every 4th Thursday. All women are invited to attend either meeting.

Presbyterian Kids (Kindergarten - 5th grade), under the leardership of Kristy Firtick, come together the 2nd Sunday of each month for fellowship, games, activities, and crafts. Contact Kristy for more information.

Monthly Fellowship Meals are a great time to socialize and enjoy a delicious meal prepared by one of FPC's many talented "chefs". Come join us the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 5:45 pm for food and fellowship.

The Golden Age Club, sponsored by the Henderson Recreation Department, meets each Wednesday morning at 10:00 am in the FPC Fellowship Hall. Call (252) 431-6091 for more information.
